Overview:
Beirut Arab University contributed to the establishment of the Union of Arab Universities along with Arab universities. It has also joined the membership of many universities, such as the International Federation of Universities, the Association of Universities of Lebanon, the Association of Islamic Universities, the University Agency of Frankfurt, and the Federation of Universities of the Islamic World.
A group of dignitaries in Lebanon and the Arab world graduated from this university, the most important of which are: UAE Foreign Minister Muhammad Hussein Al-Shamali, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister Tawfiq Krishan, former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, Jordanian writer and poet George Haddad, and many others.
The student obtains a bachelor's degree from the university in various disciplines according to the hour system, with the exception of the faculties of arts and law, which are subject to the semester or annual system, while postgraduate studies are a complement to the educational organization.
Historic overview:
The founding of the Beirut Arab University dates back to the year 1960 AD at the hands of the Lebanese Association Al Ber and Al Ihsan with the support of the University of Alexandria, and it is linked to it academically, according to which certificates are given to graduates of Beirut Arab University.
The university was established to serve Lebanon and the Arab world and to provide university education for Lebanese and Arab students who pursue their studies on the university campus in an atmosphere of responsible academic freedom, fruitful interaction and participation in university fields.
