Overview:
In 1389 AH, corresponding to September 22, 1969 AD, His Majesty the Majestic King Hassan II gave the name "Lebanon Mosque" to this blessed mosque, in recognition of the bonds of the Islamic brotherhood.
The mosque was restored and expanded on Dhul Qi'dah 23, corresponding to February 29, 2000 AD.
It is located in Agadir Downtown on the Royal Army Avenue, among the administrative district, the Swiss district and the Talborjt district to the south, and was built after the Agadir earthquake in 1966.
Its architecture keeps the traditional Arab character of Moroccan mosques.
