"Tafraoute" is located between the heights of the Little Atlas, in southern Morocco, 130 km from the city of Agadir.
It is characterized by its pink granite mountain ranges, its narrow turns, and its green oases studded with palm trees adjacent to barley fields, argan trees, almond, carob trees and olive trees.
It is a mountain city rich with ancient historical landmarks represented by the ancient Kasabas and houses. Its richness is enhanced by the customs and Amazigh architecture of its people, and the ancestor inscriptions printed on the rock and the ancient irrigation system that the mud canals still bear witness to.
