National Museum of Fine Arts (Gapar Aitiev Kyrgyz)

Overview:

The Museum of Fine Arts (Gapar Aitiev Museum and Studio) in Bishkek, dates back to 1934.

It is one of the most famous tourist places in Bishkek, which is used to display the art of Bishkek.

It is the main museum of the Kyrgyz Republic, which includes an impressive assortment of embroidered Kyrgyz carpets made of burlap (felt).

It also includes many paintings and drawings of wonderful colours, and also organizes useful exhibitions that serve local and international tourism on a regular basis within the museum.

It is run by the son of the national artist Gapar Aitiev, after he turned the studio of the Kyrgyz artist into this wonderful museum.
