Overview:
Burana Tower is a large minaret in the Choy Valley in northern Kyrgyzstan. It is located about 80 km east of the country's capital, Bishkek, near the town of Tokmok.
It was established in the eleventh century, and this tower is famous for being a historical monument, as it was originally a minaret about 40 meters high, but part of it was destroyed due to an earthquake in the fifteenth century.
The tower was part of the ancient city of Balasagun, which was established by the Karakhanids at the end of the ninth century, located on the Silk Road, which is the most famous trade route in the past, and next to it there are many important tourist destinations such as museums and archaeological buildings.
