Overview:
The United World Colleges, also known as UWC, is an organization of sixteen secondary schools, and also organizes short programs. The schools are located in different countries and have students from more than 140 countries including the United Kingdom, Canada, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Italy, Swaziland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the United States, Norway, the Netherlands, India, Singapore and Germany.
UWC Mostar is the first school with an explicit goal of contributing to the rebuilding of a post-conflict society - teaching students about the importance of education and appreciating their differences, while promoting equality, forgiveness and critical thinking.
