The library of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs is a distinguished and useful library for researchers of religious knowldge and any other researchers.
The library of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs consists of two floors, and what distinguishes it is the large number of Sharia books, as it was the nucleus of a library for researchers in religious knowledge in the Ministry of Awqaf (the Presidency of Sharia Courts and Religious Affairs in the past). The first floor is devoted to all religious knowldge books, as well as indexes of many manuscripts of Islamic and Western libraries. As for the second floor, it contained books on language, literature, history, geography and other sciences, as well as a large number of old periodicals. The library is very valuable, and whoever visits it realizes the value of the rare publications it contains.
The library of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs is located in the Institute of Dawah and Islamic Sciences in the Al-Waab area near Al-Manea Mosque, east of the Civil Defense building in Aziziyah, north of Al-Kawthar Secondary School for Girls.
