Overview:

- The educational dinosaur park in Tehran or (Jurassic Park) is one of the most important landmarks of the city of Tehran, which ranks fourth among eight parks in the world; It is the first park in the Middle East for animatronic mechanical models of dinosaurs.

- Jurassic Park or Dinosaur Park is located in Shaqayeq Blvd in Behrood Square in the Saadabad district northwest of the Iranian capital, Tehran. The park is located at the foot of the mountain northwest of the capital, Tehran, overlooking the greater part of the city.

- The park includes twenty-eight animatronic dinosaurs, and the figures are similar to the real dinosaurs that lived in the Ice Ages.

- In the Dinosaur Park, twenty-eight dinosaurs, designed with sensory sensors, interact with visitors as they approach them.

- Animatronic Dinosaur Park includes different types of dinosaurs that can move their mouth and long tail, open their eyes, and can make frightening sounds.

- The Dinosaur Park is not only for children, but adults enjoy it and read about it in small plates placed in front of each dinosaur in both English and Farsi.

- This park attracts lovers of these extinct creatures, and is considered an educational station for children. This park is intended for many families accompanied by their children.

- The park includes models of other animals that are still alive today, such as bears, gorillas, huge snakes, zebras, lions, tigers and birds.

- French researchers discovered some dinosaur remains in the outskirts of Kerman Province, southeast of Iran, and transported them to France for display at the Natural History Museum in Paris about 40 years ago. After the opening of the Dinosaur Park in Tehran, this extinct creature was transported from France to Iran in the Dinosaur Park in Tehran where it was preserved.
