• The Textile Museum in Jakarta is one of the best museums specialized in different fabrics. This museum was built from several different buildings. This museum includes many types of textiles and different fabrics that dates back to previous eras and before there were textile factories. The different tissues inside this museum date back to more than 80 years.

Museum contents:

• This museum contains many different tissues specific to each region within Indonesia, including those that are characterized by light and dark colors, as well as tissues with different Islamic designs, where Arabic letters have appeared on these fabrics cut and divided in a creative way, in addition to that it contains tissues that tend to the Indian and European heritage as well as other various tissues within this museum, It is worth to mention that the names of the fabrics inside this museum are named by dhikr, including Glory be to God, where the designer used to use dhikr to finish the design.
