Tirta Empul Temple
Overview:
• It is one of the most important cultural and heritage sites of Bali, which dates back to a little after the tenth century AD, specifically the year 960 AD.
• The temple is located in the village of Manukaya in the center of Bali.
• The temple which is located in the city center is divided into 3 courtyards, the most important of which is a rectangular rock basin in which fresh water flows from taps; where the locals disembark with their clothes in the water of this basin before praying, according to the customs and traditions of the island and its cultural heritage.
