Ulun Danu Beratan Temple
Overview:
• It is a religious sacred temple for the locals of the island, which includes a group of statues with sanctity. It is much more than that, as it is an oasis of beauty clearly reflected by "Beratan lake" in the early morning hours, the temple is located on its western banks and seems to be floating above it.
• The Hindu temple which dates back to the 17th century is characterized by the inclusion of a group of the most important statues of religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists such as the stupa, the lotus base engraved with Buddha numbers, and Desoy Danu, the Hindu goddess of lakes.
