Overview:
• "Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary -Ubud Monkey Forest" in Bali is a nature reserve and complex of Hindu temples, some of which date back to the 14th century, and it is located half an hour from the center of "Gianyar".
• The forest area is 12.5 hectares, and contains 700 monkeys. You can also see 186 rare species of different trees and some other animals such as a specific type of deer that can be seen there.
• Also there are at the forest many statues, memorials, bridges, stairs and antique umbrellas with wonderful designs to create with the greenery impressive aesthetic views.
• Many celebrations are held in the "Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary" in Bali during various local occasions in which Indonesians adorn themselves with various strange costumes and masks, and perform various dances and rituals during them.
