- Al Sadd: It was said that the name of the area came because of an old dam (Sadd) that prevented torrents coming from the direction of the Messila area, and in Al Sadd, there was the old embassy street before the embassies moved to al-Dafna.
- This area is one of the oldest and most popular areas of Doha among residents when searching for homes for rent. It is located in the city center and near all other areas in Doha. It has a large number of shopping malls, schools, and health centers, in addition to restaurants and cafes.
