Sultan Abdul Samad building dates back to the 19 century and was known as the government office in its early years. in 1974 the building name changed to Sultan Abdul Samad, who was the ruler of Selangor at that time. nowadays the building is used as offices for the media ministry, the communication ministry, and the culture ministry. Sultan Abdul Samad building consists of two floors with a height amounting to 137.2 meters long.
