National Monument - Tugu Negara
Overview
The national monument is located in the middle of Kuala Lumpur near ASEAN Gardens. The monument was built to remember the martyrs who died to prevail peace and freedom at the time of communism. The monument has one of the biggest statues in the world by the American sculptor Felix de Weldon in 1966. The monument has seven statues that represent values like; courage, leadership, power, sacrifice, suffering, loneliness, and caution.
