Sarajevo War Tunnel
Overview:
• By visiting the War Tunnel Museum, or as it is called the “Tunnel of Life,” you can learn more about the Bosnian war.
• This tunnel was dug in 1993 AD, in order to transport food, drink and weapons to the city during the Serbian siege, so it was called the Tunnel of Life, because it mainly contributed to restoring life to the city again.
• When you visit the tunnel, you will learn about the stages of its excavation through a visual presentation, and you will also learn about the weapons used by the Bosnian army during the war period.
