The Museum of the Jews of Bosnia and Herzegovina is located inside one of the oldest Jewish houses of worship where the synagogue was built in 1581 AD, and the museum itself was opened in 1966 AD on the centenary of the arrival of the Jews to the city of Sarajevo.
