This sabil (fountain) dates back to the year 1753 AD, and is located in the historical heart of the city in the main square of Baščaršija. What distinguishes this sabil is that it attracts many pigeons, as they gather in its surroundings, and this is what made the visitors of the place to name the square in which it is located, the pigeons square.
