Hamam al-Basha (Al Basha Bath)

Overview:

• It is located at the beginning of "Abu al-Hol" Street and dates back to the Ottoman period.

Architectural Description:

• It is entered from the north side, where it leads to the first "cold" section, which is a square-shaped hall in the middle of which is a marble pool. In the northern part of it there is a rectangular room with a vaulted ceiling containing muqarnas (openings for lighting).

• As for the middle section, it is entered through a corridor from the southern side of the first section, whose ceiling is also in the form of a vault. To the left of it there is a room with a curved ceiling. It consists of a left room with a vaulted ceiling and a right room with a high ceiling.

• As for the third section, it is a square hall in which people rest and leads to two eastern and western rooms.
