Overview:
• The University of Aleppo” is the second university to be established in Syria after the Syrian University, which was later renamed “Damascus University” and is one of the leading academic institutions and prestigious Arab universities.
• According to estimates, there are 103,120 students at the University of Aleppo for the 2011-2012 academic year, and about 3,737 graduate students.
The University of Aleppo includes the following faculties:
• Economics, College of Arts and Humanities, Education, Law, Sharia, Pharmacy, Medicine, Science, Fine Arts, Technical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Informatics Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Dentistry, Applied College, College of Agriculture, College of Nursing.
• In addition to the faculties, many higher institutes belong to the University of Aleppo.
