Overview:

It is a public high school located adjacent to Cairo University, and it was established on September 8, 1908, after Douglas Dunlop issued a decision to do so. It was established in the Saray of Princess Jamila, and the Egyptian royal custom was that the important facilities are named after the names of the royal family, so Al Saaidiyah School was named after Said bin Muhammad Ali Pasha, and was classified as the second oldest school in the Middle East, and the first Egyptian.
