Overview:
• Medea is the capital of the province that bears its name. It is located in the Atlas Hills, 70 km south of the capital of Algeria.
• Medea has an area of forests up to 162 square kilometres, which includes the most beautiful views in Algeria of green oak trees, cork, Aleppo pine, and some medicinal herbs.
• It enjoys a mountainous area, and a hillside area known for cultivating different types of vineyards, as well as grazing lands and water springs on the banks of its valleys in its plain area, which is famous for growing fruits and grains and raising livestock.
