Overview:
Bani Add Cave is a natural cave located in the municipality of Aïn Fezza in the city of Tlemcen, and it is one of the most important tourist destinations in Algeria, which is located in the west of the country.
The Cave of Tlemcen is located 57 meters below the surface of the earth, extending 700 meters in length, and enjoying a constant temperature throughout the year, not exceeding 13 degrees Celsius.
The discovery of the cave dates back to the first century BC, by the Berbers, who used it as a strong fort against invasions during that period.
Tlemcen Cave location is surrounded by natural landmarks, such as the forests of Tizi Ouzou and Bejaia, where olive, apple and apricot trees, Tamanrasset volcanic rocks and others, and some charming touches, such as an artificial waterfall, Eiffel Bridge and others, have been added by the departments responsible for the cave of the city of Tlemcen to increase the beauty of the cave and its surroundings.
