Historic overview:
• Allah says:" Indeed, We have tried them as we tried the companions of the garden" It was in the land of Yemen, near them, about one Parasang from Sanaa - and it is said two Parasangs.
• Al-Kalbī said: Between them and Sanaa there were two Parasangs. God afflicted them by burn their paradise.
• It is also said that, it is a paradise at Darwan, and Darwan is about one Parasang from Sana'a.
Current location:
• Darwan is one of the villages of euzlat bani makram in the Hamdan district of the Yemeni governorate of Sana'a, four miles between it and Sana'a.
