Gog and Magog
Historic overview:
Interpretation of the Almighty’s saying: (Until, when Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) are let loose (from their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every mound.) and they are from the descendants of Adam, peace be upon him. Rather, they are also from the descendants of Noah, from the children of Japheth Abi al-Turk, and a group of the Turks were left behind the barrier that Dhul-Qarnayn built.
This is the right thing, that Gog and Magog are from the children of Adam, so they are two nations: one nation is called Gog, and the second nation is called Magog, two disbelieving nations and they are from the children of Japheth bin Noah.
