Overview:

Paderne Castle is one of the seven castles that adorn the flag of Portugal today, and it is the most prominent monument of Islamic military architecture in the Iberian Peninsula.

The village is located in the Algarve region, in the municipality of Faro, on the banks of the Quarteira River. It overlooks a stunning view of the top of the area, and its area is 1,000 square metres.
