Ibrahim Ibn Ahmed Al-Aghlab

overview:  

Ibrahim Ibn Ahmed ibn Al-Aghlab, one of the princes of the Aghlabids in Tunisia, had great works, as he led armies, secured the people, and ruled justly. Yet, He had the Melancholia (Kind of mental illness accompanied by depression and aggression). He killed a group of his tribe, so the Abbasid Khaliph Al-Mutadhid dismissed him. Then he moved to Palram at Sicily, which was affiliated with the Aghlabids, and he died there in the year (289 AH). Palram today is called Palermo, and it is the capital of the province of Sicily in Italy, and its main cultural, historical, economic and administrative center.
