Calahorra Tower

Overview:

It is one of the most important landmarks in Cordoba.  

It was built in the 13th century by the Almohad Caliphate, to protect the left side of Roman Bridge.

The Calahorra underwent significant renovation in the late 14th century when Córdoba was under the dominion of King Henry II.

It was an exile for Henry brother, then it was a girl’s school in 1800.
