Gate of the Sun Square is the intersection point of many main streets in the capital.
The Puerta del Sol is one of the oldest tourist places in Madrid, originated as one of the gates in the city wall that surrounded Madrid in the 15th century.
It has many tourist attractions that attract tourists all over the year, one of the most famous landmarks is the big clock whose bells ring in the important national events, also there is the statue of the famous Bear stands up against the Mulberry tree and since the construction of this statue in the second half of the 20th century, it became the symbol of tourism in the city.
