Overview:
Song Kul is an alpine lake in northern Naryn Region, Kyrgyzstan.
It is located at an altitude of 3016 meters above sea level, with an area of about 270 square kilometers and a size of 2.64 square kilometers. The lake has a maximum length of 29 km, and a width of about 18 km, and the deepest point is 13.2 meters.
You will see hundreds of flocks of cattle and various different leather tents in this amazing place.
You will have the opportunity to taste fermented mare's milk (Kumys), the traditional drink of the locals.
You can also taste the Bedouin jam made from flowers and mountain plants.
