Kuwait Zoo
Overview:
Kuwait Zoo, with area that amounts to 180,000 square meters, is one of the best landmarks and tourist attraction in al-Farwaniyah district Kuwait that anyone can enjoy.
Historic overview:
at first in 1968 the zoo had animals that belonged to the country's rulers, after the gulf war the zoo were vandalised and a lot of renovation were made on top of which the last renovation that was done at 2004, only after the renovation that exotic animals were added.
Inside the zoo:
the zoo has four main sections the two most important section is; the animals welfare section that takes care of the animals, and the center of culture and life science. the zoo has 1600 type of animals and 188 type birds such as; lions, turtles, hippos, dears, eagles, ostrich, and golden conures.
