"Art Gallery of Ontario" (abbreviated as AGO) is an art museum located in the Grange Park neighborhood of downtown Toronto, on Dundas Street West between McCaul Street and Beverly Street.

The gallery includes more than 80,000 works dating back to the first century and until today.

The gallery has an area of about 45,000 square meters (480,000 square feet), which includes the world's largest collection of Canadian art depicting the development of Canada’s heritage through its various stages from pre-Confederation in the country until today.

It contains a museum that includes a wonderful collection of European art which has a very important collection of medieval sculptures and decorative Renaissance art. In addition, it also includes one of the most important collections of African art in North America as well as a variety of modern and contemporary arts that shows the development of modern art movements in Canada, the United States and Europe, including the works of Franz Kline, Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Arshile Gorky and others.

Among the most important works in the museum are the works of Tintoretto, Gian Lorenzo Bernini, Peter Paul Rubens, Rembrandt van Rijn, France Hals, and works by famous artists such as Pablo Picasso, Auguste Rodin, Claude Monet, and Edgar Degas.
