Historic Overview:
-Al Hanu: It means in the “Arabic” language everything that has obliquity.
-The day of Al Hanu: is one of the days of Arabs and Hanu Dhi Qar and Hanu Qaraqir are the same, Al- A’sha composed a poem proud of the day of Dhi Qar.
Al-Skouni said: Qaraqir, Hanu QaraQir, Hanu Dhi Qar and Zat Al 'Ajram and Al-Batha are all located around Dhi Qar, and Qaraqir is also: a bottom to which the flow of Hail ends and the valleys between the two mountains flow.
Current location:
Al Hanu Mountain is 38 km south of Turaif and the traveler sees it on his left if he travels from Turaif to Qurayyat.
