Ain Al Seih (Ad Dhile)
Historic Overview:
Al-Kharj region is considered one of the richest agricultural areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recently, especially as it takes water from the subterranean river running close to the surface of the earth using steam winches.
Old people said that Al Yamamah has more palm trees than Al Hejaz.
Al-Kharj: is a land of sand in Bani Tamim, and "Al-Kharj": is in Yamamah.
Current location:
It is located south of Riyadh, west of Al-Kharj.
Ain Farazan is 18 km away from Ain Saih.
It is a wide-cratered spring with a depth of 600 m and a width of 400 m. It is considered a landslide of millions of years.
Ain Ad Dhile: it is the largest spring and has the heaviest water in Al Kharj, located in (Aldam) mountain in the center of the mountain completely, its water in the past was near to the surface of the earth, but after putting several pumps on it to water the governmental (Al-Kharj) palm trees and its farms from it, the water level decreased by nearly twenty-five meters, and it stopped at this point despite the abundant water springs from it. It may be that spring which was mentioned by Ibn Fakih as an Ain Al Hejra.
Abdullah bin Khamis described Al-Kharj’s springs by saying: These eyes are like lakes that do not realize their bottom and if the sun becomes in the center of the sky and shed its rays on these springs, you see under the water a wondrous landscape, the tops of mountains rising to the grotesque caves, dark basements, and an infinite depth.
