The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was born in Abu Taleb house, in the valley of Bani Hashim, next to Al-Safa Mountain in Meccah on the morning of the twelfth of Rabi I.

The current location of the library is the birthplace of the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him, which is located in the area, formerly known as the night market, It adjacent to the northern yards of the Sacred Mosque.
