Historic overview:
Before sending the message to the Prophet, he used to go alone to the cave of mount Hira in Jabal Al-Nour, which is located northeast of the Sacred Mosque and overlooking the path of Adel. It got this name because it witnessed the appearance of the lights of prophecy.
Current location:
Jabal Al-Nur, which is located in the northeast of the Sacred Mosque, is located east of Mecca, to the left of Arafat. The mountain overlooks many of the Meccan districts, including the Jabal Al Noor district, which derives its name from the name of the mountain, the Algasala district, and Wadi Jalil.
