Overview:

It is one of the most beautiful tourist destination in Bolu, it is located approximately 32 km from Bolu City, in mountainous region. The lake considers the main destination for tourist who come to visit Bolu.

It is one of the most beautiful natural lakes in the world, it surrounded by pine, willow and oaks trees. 

Abant Lake covers an area of 1.28 km, and its deepest spot is 18 m.

Some of pets as deers, rabbits and some birds live in the surrounding region.

It is characterized by its clear water that is drinkable and its location in green areas, at an altitude over 1320 meters above sea level which make the weather cool all the year. 

It located exactly in Bolu Province in northwest Anatolia, 30 km from Bolu City and 300 k.m from Ankara. The lake was formed due to a strong landslide. 

How to reach Abant Lake: 

The buses are the most secured transportation to go to the lake and before to reach Bolu City, you should ask the driver to stop at Abant road then take a minibus to reach the lake.
