Immigration Museum Al Bilqir
Overview:
• “Immigration Museum Al Bilqir” is located in a building belonging to the residence of the owner, in the Bisha governorate of the Asir region, and it is considered one of the important personal museums in the region.
• The museum, which was founded by "Nasser bin Rashid Dha'ar Al-Qirbi," which has a license from the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage, contains more than 1,000 archaeological and heritage pieces.
Museum contents:
• It consists of four halls, three of which contain a small number of various exhibits, while the fourth hall contains a large number of varieties of heritage pieces in addition to some artifacts.
• The museum also includes a number of old books, weapons, and leather goods, as the method of hanging on the wall was used to display collectibles, especially weapons and leather, while the display system was used in the galleries for small pieces of sticks.
The museum presents a model of houses in Bisha:
- The first room that expresses the man’s diwaniyya in the middle of his house displays the tools specialized in coffee and the principles of hospitality, in addition to the pouch in which the man carries his belongings when he leaves the house and goes to farm in the fields or graze sheep.
- As for the second room of the museum, whose walls are adorned with the "square", it is a piece of cloth placed on the wall for decoration, displaying a number of old weapons, rare old coins, some old weapon ammunition, and some artifacts.
- In the women's accessories section, there is another model of the traditional dress for women called the Asiri dress and some women's jewelry.
In the last room of the museum, there is a section on agricultural tools, kitchen tools, and leather goods, such as construction tools.
