Al Yahya Museum

Overview:

• Al-Yahya Heritage Museum is located in Al-Namas Governorate, in southern Saudi Arabia, north of Abha.

• Its owner was keen to collect the components of the life of the Saudi citizen in the south, highlighting the originality of the past full of memories and events.

• Ali Yahya Al-Shehri, the owner of the museum, practiced the profession of weapons manufacture for more than 40 years, as he acquired this craft from his father and became a source of his livelihood.

Museum contents:

• It consists of several wings, and the museum contains about (1000) heritage pieces. The contents of the museum were displayed either by hanging on the walls or by displaying them on the shelves.

• The heritage pieces inside the museum consist of cooking and eating utensils and utensils, as well as watering pots, coffee tools, incense burners and milling for grinding and crushing grains, and some educational and cultural books, and it also includes some men's and women's clothing.
