Overview:

• "Abha Dam" was established to block flood and rain water in the "Abha Valley" to provide drinking water and preserve it for the residents of the city and the valley.

• It is located in the western edge of the city of Abha, in the south of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The establishment of which was ordered by the King “Saudi” in 1380 AH and was inaugurated in 1974 AD.

• The “Abha Dam Lake” is one of the most beautiful places that attracts a large number of visitors from inside and outside the city, due to its charming nature.  It also occupies a distinguished position as it has been chosen to hold various special celebrations and live events within the "Abha Festival brings us together" in one of the most important tourist attractions in Abha.

• It is surrounded by trees and forests on a wide stretch, overlooking the lake, a unique tourist site with an area of 15 thousand square meters of green space. It includes a large number of international games, 16 restaurants and cafes, public parks with family sessions, and many others inside this park in the heart of Abha, which is one of the most beautiful cities of tourism in Saudi Arabia.

• "Abha Dam" provides a wide range of international games, which number up to 35, between adventure and electronic games.

• Take a unique tour and fly over the city by riding the cable car that gives you the pleasure of panoramic vision in a 5 km trip from Abha Dam Lake to the Green Mountain and Mount Abu Khayal, to tour the most important tourist attractions and the high heights of Abha.
