Overview
Located in Forest Hill, Horniman Museum contains many important displays of anthropology, natural history and musical instruments. The museum is a space for various private exhibitions, concerts, festivals, cultural exhibitions, and art workshops. It is considered a treasure to the South of London as it houses many rare artifacts, an aquarium and beautiful gardens. It plays host to over 350000 objects, and it’s famous for a large collection of stuffed animals. Commissioned in 1898, it was opened in 1901, and was skillfully designed by Charles Harrison Townsend.
