Overview:
• “Beira Lake” was found in the center of Colombo, Sri Lanka, on an area of 165 hectares a hundred years ago, and it still exists today, although it is on a smaller area, not exceeding 65 hectares, and its water canals connect all its neighborhoods and regions.
Activities on Lake Beira:
• You can rent a boat and take a thirty-minute "Beira Lake" tour where the weather is good and the sights are attractive.
• You can also during the tour visit the "Water Temple" and enjoy watching its simple and attractive buildings in the middle of the water, as well as the wonderful huge statues in it to take as many pictures as a memory for you and your loved ones.
• You will also be able to reach the "Island of Lovers" when you cross the bridge built on the "Beira Lake" linking it to the shore of the lake.
