Olympic Park
Overview:
• Olympic Park in Seoul was built to host the 1988 Summer Olympics and is located in Bangi-dong.
• In 2011, the Olympic Hall was renovated as a concert hall by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Promotion Corporation.
• The park contains a gallery of modern art, museums of the history of the Baekje Dynasty, and the remains of Mongchon-seong Fortress (Mongchon Fortress), an earthen enclosure surrounded by a moat built in the third century AD during the Baekje Dynasty.
