Jusangjeolli Cliff

Overview:

• The "Jusangjeolli Cliffs", which are located on the Jungmun coast, are characterized by the dark black color of their rocks, as well as their very elongated, pointed shape, as they look like they were carved by an artist's hand, but they are completely carved naturally due to climate changes and the strength of winds and waves. It was created after the volcanoes on the island subsided and the rocks were calcified in the form of pointed columns that attract attention with their magnificent view.

• The rocks of the "Jusangjeolli Cliffs" act as shock absorbers for waves that may reach a height of about twenty meters in some days.
