The National Museum of Carthage is a Tunisian archaeological museum in the city of Carthage, and it is considered one of the two most important Tunisian archaeological museums after the Bardo Museum, and it is located near the Saint Louis Cathedral in Carthage.

Historical overview:
The museum was founded in 1875 AD in the headquarters of the missionaries, and it bore the name of their leader Cardinal Lavigerie. The museum bore its current name in 1956 AD and was first opened to the public in 1963.
