Gutenberg Square
Overview:
Gutenberg Square is one of the city’s largest squares and the most important tourist attraction in Strasbourg in particular and France in general.
The square is located in the center of Strasbourg and it is named after the inventor of the first printing machine Johann Gutenberg, where there is a huge statue for him in the square.
Due to its historical importance and fame which came from the artist Johann Gutenberg, many different activities and events are held in the square, attracting thousands of tourists annually.
