Generalife Garden

Overview:

Generalife is an Andalusian Garden and it is one of the most famous Alhambra landmarks in Granada. Located in the mountains, between Alhambra Palace and Albayzín district, it is composed of a series of gardens.

The name of the garden itself came from the Arabic language as it means gardens located on the slopes, like Generalife garden. The palms are lined up on the wall and the eastern and northern windows of the Alhambra Palace.

It attracts thousands of visitors each year who come to learn about Islamic civilization and the architecture, it became an UNESCO World Heritage site.
