• The "German Film History Museum" contains general information on the history of German film production through a group of screens. It also contains artifacts related to cinema and the film industry, numbering about 7,000.

• The museum permanently displays recent German films by emerging directors in the field.

• The International Children's Film Festival is held at the Museum in September of each year.
