Saq Mountain
Current Location:
"Jabal Saq" is located in the north of Al Bukayriyah, southwest of the Governorate of Ayoun al-Jawa, about 5 km from Jabal Suwaiqa.
Its height is 912 m, it is bordered from the north by Jabal Suwaiqa, Jabal Al-Tis, from the south by Al-Bukayriyah, from the east by Maada, Qarat Hosani, and from the west by Drihamiha and Al-Wasita farms.
It is well-known in Qassim for two reasons: "The first of them" is that the mountain can be seen from a distance as if it very tall and doesn’t look like to its real height. In addition, the “second” is that it is the closest mountain to the major cities of Qassim, as it is only 70 kilometers from Buraydah.
Several valleys pass through the mountain, including from the north, the Suwaiqa valley, which runs between the two mountains, the al-Fawilq valley, and from the south the valley of Qurain, and from the east the valley of al-Fawilq, and from the west al-Dulaimiya valley.
