Current Location:

Moushem is not just a mountain, but also a series of Black Mountain; it has red hills and other hills that tend to be red but they look black; other hills consist of black and red colors.

It is located in the northwest of Al-Qassim.

It is considered one of the largest mountains in that region, as it reaches a height of 1044 m. It extends from north to south about a day's camel march, and it has good parks; the town of Fuwwara is located to the south of the mountain.

Moushem can be divided into three sections according to color: in the middle, there are hills that tend to be red; from the east, the mountain rage tends to be black; from the north, they tend to be black mountains as well, with some colored stones.

The colored stones are the reason why it was called a " Moushem", likening the mountain to the skin of a man who has tattoos. The people called it so because the colors of his rocks are not the same.
